Solar Heating Grants
Grants for Installation of Domestic Solar Hot Water Systems by Accredited Engineers
Under the Low Carbon Building Scheme the UK Government provides a grant to home-owners (amongst others) who want to install microgeneration technologies, including solar hot water systems.
Homeowners can apply for a grant of up to £400 to assist in the cost of installing a solar panel hot water system. The system must be installed by an accredited installer and the system must include approved solar products. You must apply for the grant before installation commences.
